It will also be hanging in the American Greetings art gallery in a week or so as part of a Madball art show we will be having. I will try to post photos of this show when it is up for all you Madballs fans.

Madballs Fan Site: Scary Crayon!!!

I stumbled upon this website that has some pretty extensive reviews of the new Basic Fun Madball product. It also has some real nice photos of Wave 2 product (which is not even on shelf yet...) It can be found at: (Scary Crayon)
The reviews are not always kind, but its awesome that this guy 'Wes' obviously loves the brand enough to post his lengthy critiques of the toy.
Go get 'em, Wes!!

Madball Launcher!!

Here is the Madball Launcher, a jumbo sized bazooka that fires ping-pong, style, mini-Madball eyeballs. The bazooka will come with a Repvile Madball included in the package. 'You may fire when ready, Grossie!'

Anyone remember....BLURP BALLS?

Shortly after the success of Madballs at American Greetings Toy division: Amtoy, the folks at Those Characters from Cleveland were at it again wih a new spheracle miracle.
It was called BLURP BALLS.
The product was licensed by TCFC to Ertl Toys and Collectables, and consisted of 8 all-new, extremely disgusting designs. All of which had the patented ability to spit out or 'blurp-out' a smaller, even more obnoxious mini-ball. The entire line was designed by Madball contributor: James Groman. These were quite successful as well, and were even named one of the coolest toys of the year in 1991 by Entertainment Weekly.
Here are all 8 designs in package for your viewing pleasure. I will post design art in the next week or so.

Madball Interview at Saxton Moore's blog...

My friend and co-worker Saxton Moore recently interviewed me about the re-release of Madballs for his blog. You can bounce on over and read it at: Sax10 or at that great artist website: DRAWN! This interview was a load of fun, and even features a photo of one of the original conceptual artists of Madballs from the 1980's: Mark Spangler!! Bravo Mark!
So head on over and get a course in Madball-ology. You will not be sorry!

Madballs: The Movie!

Hey! It could Happen!

Madballs: Series 2!!!

Howdy!
Well, Madballs Series 1 and Madballs Sick Series 1 are on the shelves of Toys-R-Us right now!!
Go get you some! I just stopped off at my local store and they were already pretty well picked through, and there was no sign of Repvile or Screamin Meamie at all!
To get us all set for Series 2 I thought that I would post the full color design artwork for the next wave of balls. As before, we are releasing 5 redux characters based on Madballs from the 1980's toys, with one, all new Madball: Blechbeard!* The redoes are as follows: Dustbrain, Swinesucker, Wolfbreath, Freaky Fullback and Oculus Orbus. I am also posting the schematic art for three of these new balls.
Eat them up...yum!
